Hines opens up new quarters, with ideas presented by CSMM (Modal M)
In the centre of Munich, the OSKAR building, which was designed and built in 1998 by American architectures and the Prizker award winner Richard Meier, is currently undergoing a complete renovation. The white building features strong geometrical shapes, and is characterised by its light-flooded rooms. The Oskar-von-Miller-Ring building will feature 26,500 m² of office space.
Last December, Siemens moved out of OSKAR and into its new headquarters, giving Hines the opportunity to actively push forward the expansion of the building.
The owner and project developer responsible for the restructuring Hines Immobilien GmbH asked CSMM (former: Modal M) for support with the repositioning of the building.
