Making Heimat – Germany, Arrival Country – exhibition
CSMM (former: Modal M) is participating with the conversion of a landmark-protected building in the current exhibition and print publication:
The exhibition “Making Heimat. Germany, Arrival Country”, which DAM created and curated for the German Pavilion at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition 2016 – La Biennale di Venezia, will be presented on two floors at the DAM, and feature updated and expanded subject matter, as well as documentation and a review of the German Pavilion in Venice. Modal M is participating with the conversion of a landmark-protected, listed building for asylum seekers in Munich-Haidhausen.

At the same time Handbuch und Planungshilfe FLÜCHTLINGSBAUTEN – Architektur der Zuflucht: Von der Notunterkunft zum kostengünstigen Wohnungsbau has been published, instancing Modal M with two existing buildings in Munich.
