In the Arabellapark in Munich-Bogenhausen, CSMM architects converted the office building owned by an insurance company from the late 1970s into a 3*** superior hotel. The tenant is B.W. Hotel Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG.

The existing office building with three basements, a ground floor set back by a pergola and four floors is positioned as a clear block development along Arabellastraße on an area of 4,600 sqm. In the UG3, CSMM - architecture matters is renovating and expanding the existing fitness studio.

The architects and engineers gut the building completely and reduce the façade to its supporting structure.

The façade design of the four upper floors will break through the strict grid of a typical office facade by developing a skeletal honeycomb structure.
